To All LICS Great Italian Cooks!! Happy New Year! It’s hard to believe that we are well into 2009. Now that the holidays are over and we have finally settled into a less hectic schedule, please take a few minutes to pull out your favorite Italian family recipes and send them to the Cookbook Committee so they can be included in our new cookbook. We all have those recipes that have been in our families for generations that we use over and over. Send them to us, so we too can experience the many, many flavors of the Italian heritage from the many different regions. For those of you who sent recipes in for our first cookbook, I am sure that you can still find one or two recipes that you will want to include in this book, too. For new members and those of you who were unable to send in any recipes, now is the chance for you to do so. Don’t hesitate. Look for those recipes now and send them in. So far we only have 20 recipes. The deadline for us to accept recipes is March 31, 2009. Remember this cookbook will not be possible without your help.
